Hampton Roads Attorney Installed As President-Elect Of Bar Association
Stephen M. Smith, a nationally recognized specialist in traumatic brain injury and complex medical litigation, has been installed as president elect of the Hampton Bar Association.
Smith will lead the organization next year. Selected for membership into the Virginia chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Smith, a principal in the law firm Joseph Smith, Ltd., was chosen earlier this month for membership into the elite organization, which is dedicated to the preservation of civil jury trials and to helping younger attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy.
Smith, who is included in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America, is licensed to practice in Virginia, New York and the District of Columbia. He also is a board member of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia.
