Brain-Injury Expert Installed as Hampton Bar Association President
Hampton attorney Stephen M. Smith, a nationally recognized specialist in traumatic brain injury, has been installed as 2002 president of the Hampton Bar Association.
Smith, a partner in the firm Joseph Smith Ltd., and founder of the Brain Injury Law Center, will serve this year as president of the approximately 250-member association.
Smith is licensed to practice in Virginia, New York and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a board member of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia and a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
He also is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group Executive Board, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is listed in Who’s Who in American Law.
