About Samantha Cohn

A native of Hampton Roads, Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with distinction from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, where she focused on litigation.

During law school, Samantha served as Director of the Inter-American Center for Human Rights and earned gold-level status in the Pro Bono Honors Society. Since becoming licensed in Virginia in 2015, she has tried over one thousand cases — experience that has sharpened her expertise and made her a fierce advocate for clients facing brain injuries, medical malpractice, personal injury, and premises liability claims.

Samantha is certified to represent clients at all Virginia state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

"We are extremely excited to begin working with Samantha. Not only is Samantha an excellent attorney with a wealth of real-life experience, she complements our practice by allowing us to offer expanded services to our clients all over the country."

— Stephen M. Smith, Principal

Based in Richmond, Samantha extends the firm's reach into central and western Virginia beyond the Tidewater area. Outside work, she and her husband stay busy with their three boys. She squeezes in travel, golf, and yoga when she can.
